Thomas Regout History

The history of Thomas Regout goes back to the year 1834, when we were a producer of nails and spikes. The product line expanded considerably during the second half of the 19th century, with the improvement of metal working technologies. Specifically, the switch to the cold roll forming technique in 1939 enabled the manufacture of products such as curtain rods and telescopic drawer slides. For the past 30 years, Thomas Regout has specialized in developing and manufacturing telescopic ball-bearing slides.
At first, Thomas Regout supplied its drawer slides and sheet metal products exclusively to the office furniture manufacturing and related industry. As a result of their high quality standards and customer oriented approach in offering products and solutions, Thomas Regout slides are now frequently used in applications such as photocopying machines, ATM's, cash registers, 19" racks and other electronic equipment.
